They said they were from visa Mastercard and there had been fraudulent purchases on my card. They asked which bank I was with. I told them I would call the bank myself and they hung up. I then called my bank and they told me it would be my bank that calls me not visa Mastercard, if anyone else gets a call from them I think they are scammers tell them nothing that can’t be answered with yes or no or just hang up on anybody that says they are from a credit card company, then call your bank if you are concerned

Scammer called my phone randomly twice today. I did not answer and tried to call back and it's sounds like disconnected number.

They called, i quickly typed in the number and read that this number is often used for scam calls.

Did not pick up, no message left.

Claimed to be from Amazon and my account had been renewed for another year at $99. Press 1 to cancel my Amazon Prime account.

Time to block yet another number that Optus and Telstra can do nothing about.

Told me that me a fraudulent purchase had been made one my Amazon account and my phone had been hacked. I confirmed with Amazon that it’s representatives do not make house calls.
