Caller claimed to be calling from Paypal, and pretended to be advising me of attempts to transfer $1,000 out of my account... and then tried to get extra information out of me under the guise of helping me "secure my devices".

Caller: "Ryan" from "Commonwealth Bank" Auto dialler called, I answered - says "This is Olivia from the Commonwealth Bank, we are calling you about a recent transaction made on your debit card, to dispute this transaction, press 1. To approve it, press 2". So I pressed 1 (cos I am bored and want to know what happens). The call was transferred through to "Ryan" who says he works in the Fraud department for Commonwealth Bank, I have been transferred to him because of a potential fraudulent payment made on my account. When I explained I don't actually have an account with Commonwealth Bank, he just hung up on me. I knew it was a scam call, but was interesting to go through and see what happens.
