Visa fraud scam. Beware!

Tried to answer just beeped like a failed phone call in the movies

said there was suspicious activity on my amazon account, they were sending me a code and I had to let them know what it is so they could stop the transaction! even when the code they sent said "We will never ask for it over the phone or by text"... they were obviously trying to purchase from my account...

Said they were from Visa card fraud department. Obvious scam from delay in the call so I hung up.

Voice message claim to have unauthoised visa transations etc...

Caller: They said they were from the Chinese consulate

They said they were from the Chinese consulate and then they started speaking chinese at a rapid rate. I have no idea what they were saying although I'm guessing the Chinese Communist Party are behind it and they are attempting to intimidate and bully anyone living in Australia who can speak chinese. I would be interested in seeing a translation of what they said.

Received call this morning - but I don't answer numbers I don't know. GOOGLED and learned is scam likely. Blocked.
