Claimed router had errors and requested that I 'run a reboot'. Ran them around for a while and eventually they hung up.

Caller: A female with subcontinent accent.

She said she was from the commonwealth bank and there was a suspicious transaction on my bank account. I asked her what she wanted me to do. But I didn't understand her, so I asked her to repeat herself several times. I think she was getting rattled. At this point I told her that she was a fraud, and she was no longer on the line.

Caller: Amazon (apparently)

Automated call saying it was Amazon and if I didn’t order an IPhone 11 to press 1. Pressed 1 and got sent through to a call centre. Foreign accented male asked me how he could help, said I pressed 1 as didn’t order an iPhone 11. He asked me to stay on the line, I told him to cancel the order and I was calling the bank and hung up. Scam.

Caller: A female with an Indian accent

Also a woman with an Indian accent phoned and said she was from the Commonwealth Bank and that I had a suspicious transaction on my account. It was obviously a scam call. When she didn't get any information from me, she told me to shut up and slammed the phone down.

Had some accented woman call saying they were from Telstra and that my internet security had been compromised. They were going to go through steps with me to fix it, but I was on my lunch at work at the time, knew it was a scam and hung up.

The guy had my name and address, but was phising, something to do with an amount of $1399 being "debited" to my account, but at the same time I had my bank account in front of me, no such amount had been debited, eventually told him what I thought and hung up.

Guy with Indian accent claimed to be from NBN, said his name was Alex Smith .. I said, interesting name .. family name is it? He seemed a bit stumped with that until I asked him if the Smith family was proud of his choice of career. I guess they're not as he hung up on me.

It said it was from Vodafone and that they wanted to give me a 50% discount on my next 6 months' plan. I asked them to send me an email and I would take a look at it. They hung up on me. Definitely a SPAM.

Claimed to be from Telstra, suggesting my internet login credentials have been hacked. Questioned them about it, asking to email me the details of the situation, hung up.
