Said he was telstra .. then when i said i dont use telstra he said "no problem, love you too" scammers getting weird

Claims to be the "Visa & Mastercard Security Department" to verify a purchase of more than half a million dollars. Visa and Mastercard you say? And here I was thinking they're competitors... Gave me a laugh at least!

My phone automatically blocked the number/call as "suspected spam call". Never left a message of course, as most of the scammers don't! Waste of space, these idiots.

SCAM ALERT!!!!! Apparently they were my "NBN" (so vague) "technical support" (who never ever call you and are only available to call) hahahahhah!!! Told me their were error messages so I laughed hysterically loudly and hung up!!!!

Called me from Melbourne and I called back it hangs up don’t know who it is. Scams don’t answer it.

Typical scam. I guess they rolled the dice and decided to go with the Telstra concerned about unusual activity form an IP address accessing my internet spiel. I said no you're a scammer, he says "oh no there are many scams around but I won't ask for any payment (yeah sure). Asked him what the residential address was on the Telstra account, asked me to wait (probably googling the phone number) and came back with Adelaide. WRONG see ya buddy. I guess he would've asked me to give him remote access to my computer, it's usually that or cc details, but I didn't let it go on that long.
