Scam

Obviously doing the rounds again. Didn’t answer - no message, so blocked.
Getting so many scam calls etc, even from NZ, Europe and Africa- makes me laugh at Telstra’s “security” ad.

Caller: Fraud Department

Dear Customer, this is the fraud department, there is a transaction on your Visa Mastercard if a transaction of $1,100 press 1 to approve 2 to dispute. What a joke your Visa Mastercard 🤣

Stated he was from Amazon Prime & my subscription had ended. To press 1 to pay the $99 to continue my subscription. Work phone only so definitely know this is a scam.

Have googled around 5 different numbers and they mostly the same comments. That they are an ‘Amazon scam’. Why am I getting so many?!

Scam. He said from Amazon Prime and asked if I want to cancel subscription. I asked to tell my account name. He just hung up. I blocked him.

Caller: Scam said from Telstra

My personal name and details are right, they told me they are from Telstra,but I never used Telstra under my name

Caller: "PayPal secure server "

I hung up. I'm pretty sure PayPal isn't going to ring me from Melbourne

Potential Fraud caller did not record any message - from above comments, definitely will block number!

Will somebody please delete these creeps - another scam call so another blocked number 😡😡

Claimed to call from Amazon Prime

5th call today not in my contacts and no message left. If I answer , can I have them traced?

They said ‘Dear customer, this is a call from PayPal.’ I hung up.

They claim they are from NBN , they are going through the white pages and use your surname. Tell them to get a real job and hang up as I did.

Indian girl, couldn't understand her English, claimed to be ringing from Melbourne, but didn't know the address of her work place

Indian, he said “I am calling from Visa and MasterCard security” 😡 so I told him to do you-know-what and hung up

Called to say a payment was going to be paid from my paypal account (which I didn't have) and tried to get me to log into zoho or some weird app to cancel it.

Claimed there was something wrong with my Commonwealth Bank Account. Kept talking very quickly and when I interjected with "hang on, that's really interesting since I don't have a CBA account" he hung up

My phone detected it is spam and automatically blocked them. Calling every afternoon from different numbers. Don't answer
