Automated call saying I’ll be charged $199 for Disney subscription. Press 1 to speak to operator. Indian male identifies he’s from Amazon and then ask me to enter details into browser that start gg.gg. I strung him along and got called a motherf@cker when he realised i was doing it. 😀

Trying to fix my “insecure” internet connection. They said they were getting interference from my devices and need to fix that. When I said I was not at home and the call doesn’t sound legitimate they hung up. I think they wanted me to give them remote access to my computer. Watch out!

Caller didn’t give enough time to even answer or hung up as soon as I answered. Then engaged continuously when I called back.

Caller: Paul from Australian Cyber Security

Paul said my system was under a hacking attempt and for me to put phone on speaker and open google. I don't use Google. I refused request and Paul got angry because I would not do as he told me. I hung up and BLOCKED this number. Just as I block all numbers that ring, then don't respond when I answer. My phone offers this option immediately or it can be found in the 3 dots menu on most pages.

Called after 5pm, no voice mail leave so not an important message and most likely a scam. Scammers dont normally leave any information that can be traced back to them... What I cant understand is this number is still being used to try and scam ppl!! what hasnt the telephone companies blocked it already.

(03) 9123 1001 called, an unknown number to me so I let it go to voicemail. My voicemail message says "Please a message, if you dont, I will just assume your another scammer & block your number!" This caller did not leave a message ... so it's now BLOCKED.

I can only assume it is a scam call. They ring multiple times daily. No one ever speaks when you answer the call. I am so sick of scammers.

Rings on a daily basis and often multiple times. No-one ever speaks.
I am on the DO NOT CALL Register which is apparently totally useless.
