Unsolicited poll call blocked..I too am on the do not call register

Unsolicited call to for an interview.
Interestingly the call started AFTER I registered on the Do Not Call Register

Caller: Roy morgan research company

Apparently they randomly select phone numbers from some database they have access to. Its from a research company, covering uk, usa and Australia. Just a research company about social trends and human behaviour. Nothing serious.

Two unsolicited call from the same number. One at 16:29 (missed call) the next at 16:59. Alleged survey or so.

Caller: Gina or Lina

Some woman saying it’s a survey from Roy Morgan and saying they will call back about some national survey at 8pm!!!!
Just blocked the number.

The number (03) 9121 0943 called at 8pm and never left a Voicemail. I tried calling back & you get a message that it's Roy Morgan & you can't talk to anybody or leave no message. The night before at 7pm a similar number tried calling me. Block them.

A message was left stating it was national market research survey. Unsolicited but could be legal if it was a government/political survey.

No message left, I don't know how they got my aunt's private mobile number which is only known to 3 closed relatives.

The call from this number was unsolicited...They are a company doing polls...I told them that my number was on a "do not call " list and would they please strike my number from their records. the woman was polite and wished me a good day.
