Very polite guy with Australian accent asking me to participate in a survey. Dude, it's 8pm and I'm trying to chillax. Giving my precious time to answer questions for a corporation when there is absolutely nothing in it for me isn't going to happen. Capiche?

A polite gentleman named Roy Morgan, or whoever he claimed to be called me at 7:30pm this evening (Wednesday evening) to conduct a phone survey, requesting approximately 30 minutes of my time to complete. At first, I thought it was some prank, so I queried him confirming that he was really willing to and had the audacity to call me on a weeknight at 7:30pm as an unsolicited phone call to give him my time? I said, I don't think so. He cheekily replied, saying that if he had retrospectively advised 10 minutes of my time, it would have been okay. (I was thinking, not bloody likely). Hung up after that. Can't believe he thinks he can get away with that. Piss off. Private phone number, private time of day, nothing in return and we all have the right to disconnect afterhours.

He has called me on different numbers and have just rejected all. Called me on the weekend and told him I was busy and that weekends are for family time, not time for answering his surveys on the economy of Australia. He insisted that I give him a time and day for him to call me again when I'm free. I'm never going to be free for a survey.

They keep calling non stop! Every time I block a number they call with another number with a different ending to the number they called previously with!

Missed call and received this message "Hi, this is Matthew calling from Roy Morgan Gpoll people. One of my colleagues may get back to you about a survey. In the meantime, there's no need to call back. Have a good one." Don’t know how they got my number, will be blocking theirs 🙂

I just got a call from this number a guy talking quickly asking about the expenses of living in Australia I did clarify im new in Australia but he still continue to ask me questions i just blocked the number cuz it seemed like a scam
