Caller left a voicemail stating they were from Roy Morgan, wanting to conduct a survey

An obvious spammer. I know no one who'd be calling from Victoria. Call went to voicemail, caller didn't leave a message, so I've blocked. Sick of these a**holes!

Rang initially pretending to be a political survey then got into asking a whole bunch of personal financial questions. Don't talk to these people.

Seems legitimate - mentioned Roy Morgan, and the number is listed on their website. However, I couldn't make out most of what the voicemail said, and they called at 8pm, so I blocked them anyway.

I applied online to trial and report on free Brand Power products and these people rang to confirm I was accepted for one of them and advised me how to complete my survey on my product, which I have revived completely free through another company.

I reached out to the company to see if this is a scam, this is part of their email response,

We have several projects in field from our call centre now. We are also trying to recruit people for Channel 7 to join a panel and to be on live television answering questions about the election

All calls from the numbers - (03) 9122 0900 in numerical order to (03) 9122 0999 – belong to Roy Morgan Research.

We do have our National Consumer Poll currently in field which is our omnibus survey that has been running for decades.
It asks questions about different topics like finance, movies, politics, cars, marijuana, tv, radio, etc.

Respondents are contacted via phone initially and then if they agree they are sent a follow up online survey via email or SMS.
