Caller: Someone wanting to conduct a survey

Call came from Melbourne saying they wanted to do a survey at 8:30pm at night.

Called same time 3 nights in a row, have blocked but keep on calling with only one number changed every night

Said survey will take 30mins, told my they cant tell me who they were or where they got my number, im not privy to information they are to survey me. I said how do i know your not a scammer, they hung up

@Carmel King - if this is legit survey why can't you provided link via email for people to do at their own time? with all the scams nowadays where voice can be recorded and used for something else.

Having a look at previous comments, it is most likely a sleaze-ball scammer which rang our landline at 8:30pm. We have Telstra Guardian installed which automatically screens all calls. It is fantastic and every scammer is asked for identification after 2 rings. These scammers usually give up automatically. We highly recommend it.

Scammers pretending to be Roy Morgan Research, they also send a SMS message telling you you'll receive a call and to opt out at the bottom (DO NOT text the opt out number, it's a trick to get the active status of your number).

Called at 7:30 pm to conduct a survey. Blocked number

Always calls at night, would also call from (03) 9122 0928 once I blocked the 0927. Scammers.

The lady said they were conducting a national survey and would I like to hear the types of things they’re surveying. I politely declined, she said ok and I hung up. Participating in these surveys is a huge waste of time.

Calls me all the time. I never answer, but it's annoying. I live in NZ. So don't know why they are calling
