calls many times, never leaves a message

Silent scam call! This phone number rang me and after a few rings I answered. I cleverly didn’t say “Hello”, there was silence their end, then after a short pause they hung up on me! They didn’t leave a message. This is a hint that it’s another bloody SCAM. I’m in Melbourne.
WHY can’t TELSTRA do a damn thing about these scams? Telstra = Multi-Billion dollar company. Surely they’ve got the cash & equip to BLOCK these daily scams from our mobiles & landlines??

My phone indicated it was suspected spam. There was no message left so I have no idea who it is - blocked the number.

Looks like they may have moved to another number (03) 9118 0937, try to get personal details for some exhaust fan thing.

Telstra told me they are busy filtering spam numbers by thousands. They got a great software and report call centers. I suggested them to check the google for known numbers calling from the town they are located in and block those numbers. They didn't respond....

Telemarketer selling some crap but he wouldn’t get to the point

Keeps calling continuously I have answering twice then they hang up blocked

He called from 3 different numbers. It is supposed he was from Australian government and the electricity bonus.

once more the "ABOVE" number rang a melbourne residence at 6;45pm ( Melb Time ) and like previous posts listing individual call,s from this number " > (03) 9118 0997 he "Phantom" ( or whatever ?) didn,t ask for a person to speak with nor message for intended recipient to make required contact ? Was this another inundation of citizen,s at large receiving constant SCAMS ? BOGUS / MALICIOUS INTENT ? Whatever ! As a previous listed post raised , why cannot telco,s ? Canberra ? Intel ? satellites over & above actually "TRACK" these continuous caller,s eh ?
This caller phoned ( AEST !) Wednesday > " 7/9/22 " !

Indian Female allegedly from Gold Power, knew my first name. Told her not interested in their power scam and hung up.

Called trying to sell VIC gov power saving device. When I said I didn't want it he became very abusive, swearing at me and calling me names.

Anon number called 3 times in the afternoon between 3pm and 5pm Monday 18/7
Never left messages.
