That might be the case. Coming from Germany where calls from a business to a private phone for the purpose of collecting information or selling a product is forbidden, is like an intrusion into one’s private life. Just resting from a hard days work and then being called in my private home is not what I allow any business to do. The constant disturbances by marketing calls deeply annoying. There are better less intrusive methods of marketing.

I was called and asked very personal questions. Now I am feeling stupid that I answered.

Called on a Saturday asking to do a survey, sounded like a spam so I hung up. Why in anyone's right mind would they dedicate their time to provide strangers personal information is beyond me.

I received a call from this number but didn't answer. If I did answer I wouldn't have been friendly as I'm nowadays hardly am

Received a phone call on 8/2/22 insisting to do a survey on social issues. Declined.

this company doesn’t stop as because they use an auto dialler that randomly selects numbers to call people you can’t stop them calling and they don’t have to follow the do not call
register as they are classified as researches rather than telemarketers - pain in the butt!

Caller says they are Roy Morgan research but this is a lie.Some sort of scammers.Might be a synthetic voice being used.They keep calling,i have reported to crime stoppers.

Called didn't answer.

Received a call from (03) 9117 8558 at 7:31 pm in the evening i ignored it initially as the prefix was (03) and they are usually always nuisance calls.
They left a voicemail which was unusual, and a guy just said "Phil Jones from Roy Morgan" nothing else.

Rang and it was silent on their end when I picked up. So I just hung up and checked the number. Seems as though they bulk call random Australian. Seems very scam-ish especially if they are asking for your personal details. I will avoid them next time.

I read these comments beforehand so when they called me for the third time again today, I picked up and said :
Me: Roy Morgan?
Caller: Yes?
Me: Do you want me to do a survey?
Caller: Yes...
Me: Sorry I'm not interested
Then I hang up

Called me yesterday but I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. Called me again today and I was contemplating on picking up. Stopped ringing before I could.

I’m on the govt ‘Don’t Call Register’
Guess that’s another Govt funded program that’s a waste of time effort and money!!
