I called back number (03) 9112 5926 rang once then goes to busy tone.

I was continuously getting called from another 9112 number, but never answered it as I don't answer unknown contacts. They can leave a message if they're legit. This number never left messages so I blocked it. Now I get this 9112 number instead! When I call back from a private phone, no-one answers and then it goes to an engaged signal. Moral of the story - DO NOT answer a 9112 number. They are relentless!

Wanted to do a survey, asking questions like had I been overseas, am I in a relationship, do I have a mortgage, etc. Seems like they're doing prep work for identity fraud.

Said they were from City Council but when I mentioned that it came onto my phone as Potential Fraud they swore and hung up!!! Scammers

Said they were from Bureau of statistics & asked me to answer 4 questions regarding living expenses.
When I advised them that I wanted proof that they were from that department they hung up very quickly.

Caller: Lifestyle Services

I've also been receiving the calls saying they are from 'City Council' and when I questioned they name my local council, however this time they said they were from Lifestyle Services. These idiots need to be shut down

I have never answered this call and they never leave messages and call me constantly from this number and other 9112 phone numbers. I have an iphone and have blocked this phone number but for some reason the number is still calling through.

Said they were from Maribyrnong Council and had four quick questions. Third question was a bit off for that kind of thing so I hung up. Another number to block.

Asked to speak to (they gave my name), I asked who was calling. They started with the spiel - I stopped and said that I had not confirmed who I was I wanted to know who they were - they hung up.

Received a call from (03) 9112 5926 at 10.54 am on 4/2/2021 and went to voicemail - when I listed to the voicemail was just muffled noise like in a house or call centre. Nothing useful left on the voicemail. After checking the number via this website I can see that there are 16 complaints already listed! Definitely deleting the voicemail, the blocking the number.

Stating to be from bureau of stats. u can imagine what i suggested to them .....

This number called me claiming they were my local council and asking for Personnel information. Beware out there. Dont answer their questions

Didn’t leave a message . There have been so many I legitimate calls. Really annoying.
