Scam with a disconected telephone number if you ring back

I get so many of these scam calls, my spidey senses trigger and alert to hang up as soon as they ask "is that XXX, and sorry dont wish to sound rude but the accent gives it away.

The well-known fishing expedition under the guise of distributing electricity measurement thingies. They have a number every week and then keep calling.

Do not answer this number it's a scammer using an illeagle unconnected phone number

(03) 9131 2902 I usually dont answer calls without prior notice or if im expecting important information. I answered this in case it was about a recent job application. It hung up within a nanosecond. Like, not even half a second, as if a machine programed to hang up immediately upon pickup. Added it to my loooong list of spam/blocked calls lol

Glad I didn’t answer. Phone is now set up so callers not in my contacts go straight to voicemail. The voicemail message is to leave a message for me to call back otherwise you will be deemed as a scammer, reported and blocked. 20+ calls a day, down to 2-3.

Got a call at 5.30pm on a Saturday from this number, didn't answer

My call blocker app intercepted and rejected this call - so this number has obviously been reported and flagged. Judging by comments by other people who have been called from it, it is definitely a scam - probably an overseas caller masking their actual number with a disconnected Australian (Victorian) landline. May their chooks turn into emus and kick their dunny down!

Missed call from unknown number, didn't leave VM. Number blocked.

Called 3 times in 2 days. Asked how many shower heads I’d like replaced. Said I don’t have a shower lol, then she went on to electricity meters. Do not answer

5 out of 6 no one on other end of the phone, other time some lady who couldn't speak a word of engligh
