Said she is from Vodafone, asked if I wanted an upgrade. I asked a few basic questions and she didn't sound legit at all. I hung up.

Caller asked "is this Mr. (my first name)", without introducing themselves. Claimed to be from Vodaphone. Hung up when I said I never sign up for anything over the phone. The Vodaphone website lists phone numbers used by companies they have partnered with . . . . . . (03) 9091 6015 is listed, but not (03) 9091 6014. I have received calls from this number since 2015 (today's call, Nov 2018). If it is actually Vodaphone then these calls provide good reason to change provider.

Wasn’t sure if it really was Vodafone. I went into their website which has a list of numbers they call off and the partners they use to call as well and this no. Is on the list

2.04min silent vmail which is a nuisance call. Esp as my message bank aaid it was Duplicated 4 times, same time and duration (odd). Lilekely robot and I had already notified my carrier of No phnoecall contact- so they may be in breach.

I found this on the Vodafone website under support. The phone number was listed under the following heading.

We’ve also partnered with other companies. So you may receive a call or text from them on our behalf with these numbers.

Incidentally my phone contact ends this month so it is possible that they trying to get you to sign up to a new plan.

It is indeed from Vodafone. I called back the 1555 vodafone customer service to ask the operator to verify this number. It was indeed called from them. But the fact that they asked for the pin number on a call that they firstly initiated, is very odd. It looks like a scam to many people.

Didn't recognise number, so didn't answer.
Phoned back 2 days later, says Vodafone called me with an exciting new offer.
Makes sense - my plan is up this month...!!

I rang back and a voice said it Vodafone. I asked them what country are they calling from and they said it was from FIJI.
Just rang Customer Care at Vodafone and they sent me a text with phone numbers of companies they have partnered with and one of those numbers is (03) 9091 6014.
But very unprofessional in the way they speak.
