Check your phone bills.  This is an overseas number charging premium rates.  (same as Aus 1900 numbers)  The longer they keep you talking the more money they rake in.  And when you answer or call back they know you are a valid phone and will continue to call you.  No legitimate business attached as far as I am aware.    Warn your frends, family and collegues.

I had one yesterday from 9090 0553 (they didn't leave a message) and today from 9090 0500. Same as one of the previous posters, I had a lady talking about ways to help to save tax dollars to get rid of your debt if you are a home owner. I queried her on where she got my number and she said a comms (?) list, when I asked again, she read out an address of a rental property I had tenanted over 10 years ago.

Hi, I recieved from phone number 90900500 yesterday. I am impressed they still are around as you guys posted in 2009. I did not pick up the call so I dont know but they did not leave message. I post this message on 3/8/12, so someone who looks up knows what is happening for these particular number. Scums:(

Had a couple of missed calls from this number, they never leave a voice message and when I try to call its always engaged.  I have googled and even put in at Whirlpool to see the exchange if it was home phone number to see the exchange for ADSL and its not listed with telstra so is a business line..... got to be tele market or propbably using VoIP so they get a Oz number
