so this idiot somehow knows my name i asked how did you get my number hes like sorry top secret bye.

Indian sounding lady told me I was to receive a discount of 25% on my electricity bill, but I informed them I didn’t pay it and it’s not in my name so they said sorry and hung up.
I thought it sounded fishy...

Scam, other side was an indian bloke saying I won some sort of deal with a saving energy plan. Despite being told no, I keep getting calls every few days so block this number.

This number has called me 4 times in 2 days each time saying about my electricity but for different reason
1/ my meter
2/ my bill
3/ bill discount
Don’t disclose any information to this number SCAM to try to get personal information

I can't remember what they initially called me about, but I added the number as spam caller, Currently They call me twice a day every day of the week. Very persistent.

Calling about 6-7 times a day. Leaving voice msgs yelling hello into the phone. When I answer they hang up, then call straight back to hang up again. Trying to report them. Will be blocking this number.

Posing as Energy Australia saying we were due for a massive reduction in our bill. Blocked number.

New my name I told him I did't want to talk to him. He said why not and i replied it is a scam. I then hung up. I immediately blocked the no. Have several from Energy connect and block all of them .Some start with 02 and others with 03. I think the comment previous may be correct that these nos are being passed on by telco staff.
