Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Picked up the line cos I thought I knew the number. It just hanged up. Then checked in the internet where exactly in Melbourne is the caller and found this here as a scam. Beware!

Hung up as soon as I answered. I assume they’re checking to see if there’s a real person on the other end so they can add your number to a list for other potential spammers.

Sounded like a call centre when I answered - I am waiting on a call about something so I had to answer in case it was the builder.
