These despicable, scamming halfwits phoned me, couldn't be bothered leaving even a short message, and then had the cheek to call again 45 minutes later. What is the point of that if they don't even speak? I've unblocked a previously blocked number used by scammers and added this one - and I'm sick to death of both doing that and of this plague of sub-human pests.

These are scam calls from lowlifes, not "telemarketers" or anyone else who will pay the slightest attention if you say you aren't interested. Don't answer or this constant barrage of scamming phone calls will never end and nor will our suffering. Block the number if they keep calling.

As soon as lockdown/curfew ends, I predicted there would be a resumption of scammers and the rest of the telemarketing low lifes looking to get their feet in the door to flog light bulbs etc.

Caller: Indian accented lady I told her I cannot understand her, straight away an Indian man with better english asked me how I was today even though it was Saturday at 6.45pm. I said I think I'm ok. He said he could install a free (to me) device to fit on my smart meter and reduce my power costs. It would seem the free LED lights have been overtaken by the new 'energy saver' scam.

Phone call finished before lifting receiver. Soon after I was informed that their number was congested (usually in such an instance, “engaged” would be the word). Very sus.

Caller: Ada An Indian sounding woman who eventually said her name was Ada / Aida, once I asked, "Who are you?" I was expecting a call and her number looked like it could be it. The start of the call was strange with her and I saying hello yet she also paused silently a lot, making me think she couldn't hear me. Then she asked me, "How are you doing?" I am obliged to tell some types of professional people how I am. It was then when I asked, "Who are you?" She gave no company or organisation's name. As I hung up, in the background someone quietly told her, "You got her to say..."
