She commenced a broken english spiel about a smart meter device and finally said do I have one? Just to get rid of her I said yes. Then she was gone. I have no idea what she was on about.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Someone saying they worked for the government and we’re coming to install something to read and conserve electric energy. I argued saying we already had one . They wanted my name and phone no . Made an appointment for the next day and a no show of course

No message- number responds with a "leave a message" prompt. Scam???

Delayed response and I could hear a foreign accent as I hung up.See Caroline comments.
