"How do I block this number?"

Got a call, asked him to stop calling. The female was annoyed and stated she needed to discuss my energy account. I asked what the name of my energy provider was, she didn’t know and tried to talk her way around the question so I kept asking it over and over again and she hung up. I find it funny to annoy these people as much as they annoy you.

Several calls in the last few days, have hung up on them and doesnt make a difference. Have blocked.

This is a total scam. Indian guy claiming her worked for an energy company want to talk about our account. I said we didn't have an account from them so to please stop calling. He then claimed we won a $500 voucher from a competition which we never entered and then was asking for our private confidential info. DO NOT SPEAK TO THIS SCAMMER! BLOCK THE NUMBER!!!

Going thru the same drama as all the above. Have just lodged a complaint with the Do Not Call Register as I am on it. Taking my phone to police today to see if they can do anything, as have threatened the caller with this, so will see. Really getting to me ....

Claimed to be from some energy company, had my name and old address. When I told him my number was on the 'do not call' list he swore at me and hung up.

Answered the call after them trying to call me continuously. They asked if I was the person they were trying to contact by my first name, when I didn't say yes and asked who they were they just kept asking if I was me and I kept asking who they were until they hung up.

This number calls and has been for at least 6 months, i also receive txts saying i missed a call form this number a few times a week at least. This number has got to stop! its harrasement

These people seem to have a range of numbers at their disposal. I blocked one number only to be called by a similar number shortly afterward. I feel as though I am going to have to do this several times before I completely block these people.

I only answered call as I was waiting on a Specilaist calling back,no looked similar. Man with an African/Indian sounding accent knew my name and asked if I organised Energy Accounts in my house or something to that effect I said no and he hung up. I’ve blocked this number.

I picked up and a woman explained that she was from an energy service provider comparison company called Energy Direct or something like that. Went into a massive spiel and then redirected me to another colleague who said she did an assessment of my property and that there was a better service provider, Sumo Power, that I should consider switching to and she would send me a welcome pack. This is what I get for being polite when I should have just hung up. I even asked how she originally got my number when it is on the Do Not Call Register. I managed to worm my way out of the call and then blocked.

Just answer I know numbers as a business name they will stop calling
