Caller: AAMI car insurance

Cancelled my policy coz I found a cheaper one with more options and now they won't stop calling. Blocked their number

Rang me twice, no one on the other end.

Caller: Claimed to be AAMI

I answered this call,an Aussie accent replied ,claimed to be AAMI from Australia, I queried where exactly in Australia they were calling from,as AAMI does not use that number.
She hung up.

Caller: Aami Insurance?

I rang this no. back, and it says if AAMI needs to call back they will.

Caller: Silence

I get multiple calls a week from this number and it's always silent

Spam call. Didn’t answer

I answered the phone and I didn’t hear anything. Weird.

Calling the number, I got an automated message saying it was AAMI.

I then called AAMI on the main number listed on their website and asked about this number. They couldn't confirm it was a legitimate number. I suspect this is some sort of fraud, someone pretending to be representing AAMI.

If they were genuine they would have left a message on the home phone answering machine. No-one rings us on our home phone except for cold callers so we don’t usually pick up. Suggest it is yet another phising call.

I have a missed call from this number no message left. I suspect it's a scam.
