SCAM

i called back the number and it had an optus message saying the number ive called is disconnected. Obviously this is a scam.

Caller: Telemarketer

Sheri from a company called Energy Savers phoned my mobile number. When asked where she got my number she said the Australian Business Directory. As far as I am aware my number is not listed there. Call appears to have originated from Melbourne but the young lady had a very strong Asian accent and rather difficult to understand. I said I would report her name and her company phone number to ACMA so she hung up.

If you have received calls selling financial services subsequent to this call and had paid them with credit card, refer your case to ASIC.GOV.AU if you believe they provided financial advice outside of their license. Ask you bank for reverse charge if you had kept proper record to proof they had provided services outside of their license. Contact Slater and Gordon or Maurice Blackburn to see if they have enough numbers for possible class action for damages.

Phone harassment. Never given them my number. Told them to stop calling from day one, and they keep calling from different phone numbers. Name harvesting of phone number in the pretense of energy saver, expect more unsolicited calls later from 'different companies' addressing you with the same personal details obtained from 'unknown source'.

They call every day and I have asked to go on a DNC list. They went silent and didn't confirm they would do it.

Tried calling back, Skype gave me "Number is invalid" error, most likely another scam caller using virtual numbers.

I got this call, and called back this number is not connected.

Some man called me, couldn’t hear him because his phone was so scratchy and unclear. Said would call back. Unknown person. Probably telemarketer or scam

Called me but never left a message. Second time now doesn’t answer when called back

Scam call pretending to be my energy provider and trying to get me to give details of my energy provider, payment details, credit card, etc.
