Caller: Scammer

Ricky knew my first and last name. Said he got them from a database. Wanted to know if I received the Victorian government light bulbs or something. Got defensive when I challenged him. I asked him to confirm my address, to which I said if I am on your database, it's my data to confirm, and that I thought he is full of sh*t. I heard him abuse me afterwards but hung up before I could hear it.

I can imagine my details were stolen from the medibank hack and they were wanting more information. I was in the middle of watching "Last of Us," so wasn't interested in fcuking with them.

Don't entertain these people.

When you call back you get a message that it's not a registered phone number

They called me a bitch because I said stop scamming people.

Caller asked if I had a smart electricity monitor attached to our electric meter, I asked which company are you calling from, she said Victoria Energy Commission. I said I already had a smart monitor, and ended the call. Try to phone the number…line is always busy

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Caller: selling 240 volt things

The idiots can't understand I don't have or need there items and that I live in an off grid bus, they used my name. I have not had a Gas or electricity account in my name for 15 years.

This number keeps ringing me at different times of the day,, I have unknown numbers silenced because of domestic violence, my thought is if it’s important you’ll leave a message but know message is left so not important

I'm expecting a call from Telstra customer retention, so I've been answering all these random calls. When I answered it took a few seconds to connect, a classic call centre ambient sound came over the line and another second later an indian sounding male voice said "H-hello?". When I asked "Are you from Telstra?" the guy hung up. Very clearly some kind of spamming / scamming call centre that dropped the unreceptive call like a hot potato. If it was a legit call, why wouldn't they engage? Iol.

They have tried before on (03) 9063 4583. Time thiefs.

couldn't string 5 words together other than my name, when l asked them to repeat where they are from he hung up. scam call

Caller: Power monitoring supplier / free light bulbs

Call back regularly and change the phone number as regularly, (starting 03 7032 or 03 9063) but same scam, install power monitoring app / LED bulbs and charge back to government schemes. "If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.”

They keep ringing me about every 5 min it's so very annoying right on meal times don't leave message

I don't know this number, and based on what other people have posted here I won't be answering.

Caller: Scammer

Scam caller, called 4 times within 30 minutes.

Call came on my mobile. Did not answer. They did not leave a message. Called back on land line, which I always leave off the hook. Number i not connected. Yet another nuisance call!

Caller: Philippine or Indian pests phishing for my details

This number calls each evening at 7.10pm. I answered last night and it was a noisy call centre. I now leave the phone off hook in the evenings.

Called three times in 10 mins around dinner time. If it’s important they’ll leave a message, but they don’t. Can only assume scam/robo/spam call.
