This one was ringing my mobile no. and it came up as a "potential fraud".

I don't understand why telcos are unable to simply PREVENT these numbers from bothering people if they have already flagged the number as a scam.

It defies logic.

Caller: Indian man in a noisy call centre

Says he's calling from the Victorian Government and offering free energy saving devices. His command of english is so bad no one in Government would possibly employ him. SCAM!

Yep, got a call from this number about an hour ago. Indian scammer using "call spoofing" to make the phone number appear to be from Melbourne.
I'd put my money (which I will not get scammed out of) on it being a scam centre in Kolkata. Block this number if you get a call from it.

Left voicemail with no one speaking. Will block the number.

Lots of missed calls from similar numbers, never leave a message, so I don't call back

Does not leave a message, when I call back I hear 'Optus advises that the number you are calling has been disconnected.

Popped up as fraud, don't answer these. I use a free app called HIYA, it alerts fraud calls. But Telstra & Optus need to pick up their. Oh that's right, Optus helped with a data breach

Called and left no message. Checked here and the numerous reports of it being a caller from shower head, to parcel delivery, to electricity, to others just reinforces the point that this is a spoofed number used by overseas scam callers.

I had another number constantly ringing me until I contacted the company from a listing on this site, but I'd blocked that number and it could still call

Offering Water efficient shower head replacement… I hung up before allowing them to elaborate.

person said a package that needs a signature couldn't be delivered could we give them a time when we will be home, nothing has been ourchased...
