Caller: Scammer

called me while I was driving so I gave them a day and time to call me. But they didn’t call me at the requested time and date. Called me after 7pm and left a voicemail saying they’re from energy Australia. But also to contact them back to receive an iPhone. So scam. They used the first customer service representative’s name I contacted with the actual energy Australia customer service chat.

Its a legit service I work for the company

Caller: purportedly from Energy Australia

I have been receiving a daily call over 4 days from this number by a person with an overseas accent between 0800 and 1000 hours AEST. this number is repeatedly showing as a potential fraud on my S22 Ultra. If this number is legitimate then maybe Energy Australia should take it up with the telco's because as it stands I do not trust it.

This absolutely is EnergyAustralia. I asked EnergyAustralia about this number, and they told me it was a scam. However, EnergyAustralia then emailed me, stating that they had been trying to contact me. It's the connection team, and probably why the customer service team didn't know.

Asked me for my details. I said I would not provide them over the phone on an inbound call and I would call them. She said no problem to go on the website and call them back. I rang EnergyAustralia and they confirmed it wasn’t them and reported the scam number.

Legitimate call from Energy Australia in regards to a recent online chat I had with them about my account. It would however be helpful if Energy Australia could identify themselves so I can confirm that they are indeed who they say they are.

Keeps calling at 7.30 pm at night and leaving voicemail, my phone flags it as spam. No idea if it's legit or not. I can't understand anything they're saying, sounds like it's been recorded and played to me in double speed. Coincidentally I'm trying to resolve something with Energy Aus atm so maybe it is legit?

When call back I hear the welcome message from Energy Australia

SCAMMERS. Bogus and fake. Claiming to be from 'Energy Australia'. Left Voice Mail message last night at 7.32pm. The message said he (the scammer) was from Energy Australia. He had a thick (barely understandable) Indian accent. He said to call back any time Mon-Friday, between the hours of 8am and 7pm!? Yey he left the voicemail at 7.32pm last night???
