Caller: Diabetes Victoria (?) Caller ID displayed number as (03) 9046 5209. Initial delay in pick up from caller then music. After about ten or so seconds of music caller did not identify themselves but asked to speak to someone (named). Caller not willing to identify themselves until I asked a number of times, apparently Diabetes Australia. Insisting that I had membership with them and wanting to sell on going membership ... No membership at all here. I asked them not to call this number again and hung up.

NOT a scam. It is from Diabetes Victoria - Customer Service & Membership team. They only call if your number is registered under a membership with Diabetes Victoria.

Same as before, answered and there was a delay then music. I hung up because anyone worth talking to does not call you and then put you on hold!

Caller: purported to be from Diabetes Australia As per another report, there was a delay in phone being answered, with a bit of music and then a caller identifying themselves only as from Diabetes Australia and asking for someone I'd not heard of (sounded like an Indian name). I told them wrong number. I suspect scam call based on the above report and the fact that the phone number does not seem to relate to Diabetes Australia at all.
