The sneaky bastards called at 6:30pm and again the following morning at 9am. My theory is if they don't leave a voicemail message then it can't be too important. Still... Arseholes!

I answered - Sumo Energy didn't let him start his speal just requested to be taken off the list and not called again...how do these people even get your number!!!???

I answered "Melbourne City Morgue, corpse number 73 speaking. Please give me your account number". Never heard from them again.

I missed a call 2 days ago but alas they called again today. I looked up the missed number and found this website and the comments on it. So when they rang today, before they said a word I said HELLO SUMO! They admitted I had gotten thru to Sumo ... as if I rang them??? WTF! Anyway I told them I dont want people I don't know calling my mobile but they persisted, so I told them about the websites I had found and recited some of the comments I found, being sure to repeat the one that mentioned arseholes... 3 times... after telling them 4 times I dont want to talk to them they gave up.

They just called me. I asked him how he got my name and number. He said "Data Solutions". I said I had no idea what that was and don't call me ever again.

For about 2 weeks would ring nearly every second day about 3 times a day. I blocked the number, and they started ringing off a different number. One day they left a 30 second long voicemail that was just back ground noise so I rang them back- a guy answered saying hello? and I said I had a missed call from you, then he said oh hi this is so and so from sumo energy how can I help you. I then proceeded to tell him how I had been rung 3 times in the one day and wanted to be taken off the list as I do not live out of home, have no need for an energy provider and didn't want to be rung anymore and he became quite aggressive saying that I needed to provide my number in order to be taken off the list. Eventually gave him my number after arguing saying they had my number because I had been rung so many times. He was very rude, but I haven't been been rung since.

Scam! Sumo Power offering shonky deals.
They ask for for all of your personal details, drivers license number, medicare number, D.O.B so they can run a 'Credit Check'
The dude I spoke to got really aggressive when I refused to give him any personal information.

Complete scam. Cheap power that will cost you more. A call blocker is the only way to go.

Ah man these people are annoying. So many calls I got worried I'd missed a payment on something! Turns out just a bloody telemarketing company. I've only had this number 4 months, no idea where these bastards got it from, I wonder if they're just dialing random numbers!

Don't answer.....spam caller....Electricity....say we can get you a good price then after a month...the price goes up well over other companies price........can only happen in Aus!
