I received this phone number in a fake "We have auto renewed your virus scanner and debited your account" e-mail. I phoned it using a secure land line and it just rang and rang, no answer.

Like above I received this number in a fake email. This is how they scam you, they want to say they are giving a refund, they take control of your device and then change the amount it looks like they have refunded to a lot more by saying they miss keyed, and they are going to be in big trouble if it is not fixed. They ask you to refund the fake difference in the form of gift cards.
The red flag is the email address they send it from: luisl4oshi92 @ gmail.com.
Mine was for McAfee antiviral.
I wanted them to answer when I called, I send bad mojo that all scammers get leprosy, and I wanted to ask if any of them had it yet, and if they said no, then I was going to say "I really hope you get it and your hands and ears fall off" then hang up.

This number is related to the McAfee subscription scam. I have called the number and spoke to an Indian guy calling himself David Brown who tried to tell me someone has subscribed to McAfee using my details. Don't call the number unless you want to unload on the scammer.
