Caller: ATO Scammer

I had someone call me from this number.They said
I had an outstanding tax bill and I could go to prison for avoiding my tax obligations. I hung up and called the number back . Someone with a suspicious Asian accent answered claiming to be from the ATO. I was suspicious when he demanded my name, DATE OF BIRTH , address and TFN. I said I would make some inquiries before giving this confidential information. I could sense a bit of concern in his voice as officials from ATO don't seem to come across as desperate. I believe this number needs to be reported to the authorities.

This number says you have tax implications and they have mail for you returned unclaimed.
It also states you will go to jail if you don’t call back.

Caller: Scam - "ATO warrant"

Called, no answer. Missed call, no voice mail. Rang back. Lady claiming to be from the ATO saying owed $3990 from 2015 - 2021. Said arrest warrant for outstanding money and if hung up would press further charges in court. Wanted payment for monies owing. Put on mute till she finally got the gist and she hung up and blocked number.

Caller: Scammers - pretending to be the ATO

When I told him he was not the ATO he proceeded to swear uncontrollably at me and cursing... Sad.

I got a call from this number saying from ATO, probably SCam

Looks like it may be ATO scam based on complaints made about similar numbers

Not sure. A missed call.
