Caller: Person pretending to be from anz Person pretending to be from bank. Actually had my partners name, address and last four digits of card which was a worry and was asking for the crn. When my partner refused and said he would call the bank the guy said do you want your reference number and the guy said deezenuts.

Pretending to call from your bank re unusual transactions . . They know all your details and advise that a pending transaction has been flagged as unusual. Once you have confirmed it is they proceed to reverse it and send you a code .via text to confirm it is not yours. You give the code and the money is automatically taken out of your account . Beware !!

Caller: A guy calling himself Danny Macarthy Holding out to be from the fraud department of Westpac bank. Wanted me to access my banking app!!! Hang up on him or waste his time but give him nothing.
