I received an email supposedly from PayPal regarding an unpaid account for $640.90. I don't deal with PayPal and unfortunately called the number they gave me. In hindsight wish I had checked first. I was scammed out of $1000 (asked to buy Apple Gift Cards) wanted me to buy more at Woolworths but by this time was beginning to think I had been scammed (thankfully, as I could have lost a lot more money)so returned home and telephoned my bank etc. Just trash this email if you ever receive it.

Caller: Paypal scam

Phone number is associated with Paypal scam emails saying to call this number is you want to cancel some made up charges to your Paypal account

It says it’s from pay pal and my order has been accepted for $640.90. Ii should call this number to cancel order within 24 hours or it will be deducted from
My PayPal account.
