Discount club number .. They contacted me using what’s app. I was suspicious when I was asked to provide a medical Medicare number and a driving license copy. I knew that that can be used for hundred point ID verification. So I only gave them an expired copy of my passport. When I said that I was happy to visit them in person and give them the necessary documentation there was a lot of hesitation and I got suspicious. So I went to the actual address printed on the invoices and then I saw that it was a fake. There was a different business operating at the address and the discount club was using the other location fraudulently. I would advise anyone not to get too greedy and give into temptation. Please just pay your bills and do not use the discount club or bulk bargains. Better safe then Sorrry.

The Victoria police is investigating the affairs of this company. A person over there told me that a number of people have been scammed and a large number of people have lost money after paying them.

They pay small amounts of money

But then they will run away when you make a large payment. You will never see or hear them again. I have lost about $6000 in amount paid towards bills

Never do business with people who claim to be from Discount Club, Bulk Bargain or Utility Warehouse. They will first say they will provide 30-40% discount on bills, rego or ATO payments. They mostly talk in Hindi/Urdu and first register phone number which you can dial from phone but after sometime they disconnect numbur but still use that number in Whatsapp. They will say to pay first and confirm with utility company and then only pay to thier supplier accounts. This supplier accounts are nothing but they open personal accounts using people's license in different banks. This guys use gift card which works as credit card and always under name "Discount Club" and they pay under $1000 and ask you to pay in advance insurance, bills, rego etc. Once you start paying with them they will keep calling you and ask you to pay more bills and payments and also tell you that they have monthly target so if you can pay them extra or pay more bills. Sometime they will say they give 40-50% discount on mortgage payment and that too directly into your account. They say they are based in Hawthorn, Melbourne and sometime say they are in Collins st, Melbourne CBD and also some times from QLD. This guys use different names and keep asking you to pay money once you pay $2000-$3000 they will start reversing bills and your utility companies will send you emails that some one has lodge charge back on the payment so please contact your bank. You endup paying those bills all over again. I event paid some bills 2-3 times using those Discount Club vouchers and they all got reversed.

This guys also use Bulk Bargain name for shopping digital goods. They say there is big sale on Apple Products such as iPad, Macbook and iPhone and watch and giving discount of 50%. Once you pay them, they send you email from Bulk Bargain and random tracking number which you cant track anywhere and they say you will recieve items with in 24-48hr from delivery agent. We waited 2 days but no one came and they say order price has increased so pay extra $500. We paid that too but they didnt deliver any order. They also claim that they have 2 warehouses 1 in Melbourne and 1 in QLD.

This guys are big scammers and they are from Pakistan or Indian. Some of the names I know are Zain Ali, Manpreet, Raj, Khaleel, Jake, Zia. They will use below phone numbers (03) 9028 7622, (02) 8091 7640, (02) 8091 7690, (07) 3040 6806, (03) 9015 4127. They also use email bulkbargain.official.info @ gmail.com and https://www.econex.com.au
They will call you from your local state number and give you fake address.

Caller: Discount club scammers fraudulent business

This number. Including the WhatsApp number. Is used by a fraud company which operates under the name of discount club. Their modus operandi is very sophisticated.


They called call you and ask you to provide them with copies of your bills. They promised to pay your bill and you need to pay them 70% off the bill. Eventually they will offer you 45% discount. They will even encourage you to call the provider to confirm that the bill has been paid. After that in about two or three weeks after you have paid them they will dispute the transaction and the bill will be reversed. You still have to pay the full bill and they have made off with your money. Please read bill payment scam under Google. Do not under any circumstances engage with this dishonest business. I wish I was forewarned about it. And I am trying to make other people aware of this scam.
