Called and hung up when answered called in a Saturday

I agree - it appears to be a scam. I am in the same boat rec'd call that I did not answer and number was not connected when I attempted to call back

I received calls from this number yesterday and today, didn't answer or call them back as I don't recognize the number. Glad I didn't as I see from the other posters that this is a scam.

Thanks for all the comments. I received Multiple Calls. Did not answer any expecting msg drop. None forthcoming. I have blocked the number.

Caller: "Energy Savers" foreign call centre

Unsolicited overseas call centre called "Energy Savers'. Don't bother answering the call. I finally did after they rang multiple times.

The caller did not answer straight away which is a sure sign that its a scam or a sales caller who doesn’t give a s... about do not call. I hung up before anyone spoke. After visiting this site, I’m glad I did.

Blocked number previously as "Easy savings"; got rude responses and they keep trying to avoid my number blocking.

Answered and waited - nothing and then they hung up. Timing and style is computer marketing call. Humans always say something......

Said they were from an authorised energy comparison company "Easy savings....Energy savings", asked for information about my energy provider. Pretty certain it's an international scam.
