Caller: Fake fraud representative from Commonwealth Bank

Scam from a person saying they were from my bank. They told me that a suspicious transaction from my account had been detected and they had temporarily halted the transaction (but that they could only hold it for a temporary period). I was told that the CVC on the card in my app was different to the CVC on my physical card, and this shows that someone registered another card in my account. But actually, having different CVC numbers is a security measure from my bank. The scammer also asked me to install a remote access software (Zoho Assist) to 'help' me 'fix' the CVC and 'upgrade security in my account'. Scammer had an Indian male accent.

If you get calls from similar landline numbers, call your bank's official phone line instead.

Standard scam call about delivery of goods requiring additional payment

Part of a recorded message was left in my message bank "..confirm the order then press 9" in an overseas accent with an American inflection.
