Claim to be from Visa & Mastercard security department but they are two separate organisations. When challenged they hung up. Total scam

Caller: Claimed to be from Visa Claimed there was unusual activity on my credit card saying Temu is trying to debit my card for over $400.00. Visa never calls about transactions. Any possible fraudulent activity on my credit cards flags with the bank and they text me.

Received the call this morning, Asian accent, say to have a charge for Temu in my card and need verification, I ask what card number and she keep change subject. Scams

Caller: Claimed Consumer protection dept The caller claimed that she was from "Consumer protection department". Her story was she was calling because my account was used by scammers. Obviously a lie.
