Not the first time this number has called, but I never answer. And they never leave a message so assume they're scammers.

This number has called me 3 times in an hour - most annoying. I answered the first time and they just hung up, 2nd time I was up on a ladder, and 3rd time I was chopping wood - glad I didn't break my neck to answer the phone. No message left.

They rang, and hung up as soon as I answered. No doubt, they wanted me to ring them back out of curiosity.
I've had similar calls from unscrupulous telemarketers/fraudsters before, I knew not to bother ringing them back.

I have long stopped answering to any numbers that I don't recognise. I wait till they leave a message on the answering machine, They all hang up quickly. But what a nuisance. Thanks to everybody that leave a comment.

This number has called 8 times, they ring I picked it up, they hung up 10 minutes later rang back with an Indian lady spoke, I hung up then 6 more times, I have hopefully blocked the number

Just received yet another call from this number second one today. I answered the first one today he called me by name I told him he was a scammer and hung up.Moments ago the call went to my answering machine and usually they hang up but this time he called me by name and asked a few times if I was home then he hung up. A few times the landline and my mobile have rung at the same time. Not a coincidence!! Wish Telstra or the police could do something about these scumbags

Received 4 of these calls about 10 minutes apart. Never heard one ring. The Telstra Guardian home phone stops them dead. None get through. They only appear in your calls history. We have not heard any for all the time we have had it. Do yourself a favour and look them up.

The only way I got rid of all these calls was to get a "Guardian Phone". They are complicated at first but OMG....the peace!

Hung up as soon as answer machine picked up the call at 11.15 am on July 22, 10 minutes later a call from (03) 9689 5258 (3rd time in 17 hours) - possibly the same person.

Heard "call centre background noises and an Indian accent" Enough for me to disregard the message.

Caller: ALL scam calls

Everybody who complains about these many nuisance callers, do yourselves a favour... GET CALLER I.D. CONNECTED TO YOUR PHONE!! It may cost about $5 extra per month, buy it certainly is worth every cent!!!! I have made a list of all these nuisance call numbers, and keep that list next to my phone. Then when I recognise the number, I simply don't answer. Yes, these scum people get smart and often change their numbers. They keep the same area code 03, (e.g.), but often the next couple of numbers get changed. You will get to recognise these slight changes. Then just don't answer the calls. Caller I.D. is an absolute God send!!! Simples!
