Pertaining to be from Paypal (which don't even use) and confirming an apparent order received, which I could cancel by calling that number. TOTAL IDIOTS.

Had the same happen to me today - claiming from Pay Pay and a gift card purchase from California - same amount $299

Prentended that my Paypal account had been used to send an ebay gift card to someone in California and wanted to guide me through how to secure my device. Total scam!!
