Caller: Call centre

Missed the call. Thank God. Based on comments above I will add to my list of telemarketers but it will be a random spoof number. Almost certianly Skytech Sales and Marketing. Last lady of south asian decent told me they get their lists from Australian Data Services in a southern Sydney suburb. Easy to research from company records.
They ring me from random spoof numbers at leastonce every day. They know my name so I ask them for their names (always anglicised and spoof) and passport number and visa number and if they have not hung up I proceed to their full street address and bank, account number and password. Generally have hung up by then. I have no idea why they keep trying. I try to give them the poopies as long as possible. You would think the call centre girls would put me on a black list.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

This number called me yesterday. As I'm expecting a call from Telstra Customer retention, I answered the call. It took 3 - 4 seconds to connect through. When it did, typical call centre sounds came through. Then an indian sounding female voice said "Hello" - and before she could get on with her spiel I interrupted with "Are you from Telstra?". She didn't know how to respond and then said, "No I'm not with tel-star". lol "telstar". "Ok then" and I ended the call. At this rate, I'll go back to letting the voice mail take any calls I don't recognise.
