someone called me from 424-226-0207that's the # they gave meI didn't buy anything they were asianThey assurred me it wasnt' a scamThey tknew stuff about my computer or so I thoughtCould they harm my computer?Get into my filesI did a few things they asked.... They called 3 times

i got a ph call from the same number....i paid 99 dollars..they provided me antivirus and were very helpful to optimise my computer and its working faster than before...i dont think i was misleaded or scamed coz during the verification they confirmed that they are not from microsoft..

Please someone replyI'm freaking out here now.Don't know what to do

Well, my father-in-law got a call from them today, first they said they were from Advanced System Care (which is a software brand) then they said they were Services for Windows the next time they called. They are trying to get people to pay them $180 to remote access your computer and "fix" it. They get you to send an email before they do anything to say you are happy with their services, then they get you to type the prefetch command into your run prompt, then get you to allow remote access to them. Once this is done they put Advanced SystemCare on your computer (which you can buy for $12.95 online). After I got him to disconnect the phoneline and router power, the mouse was still running around like mad. Well you guessed it, now i have to go through his computer and remove all their stuff and the father-in-law had to cancel his credit card to prevent them taking out any money.

My suggestion is to simply hang up on them...after you tell them it is a scam that is.

even i got a call from this guys teling me about my problems about the software and told me to go for a 3 yrs plan for $190 and i used my visa card to pay them,after paying them there was one guy named fredrick joneswho  took the control of my computer on remote way n he instaled some software and now i see my computer is runing much more faster and i am also coverd with anti virus,so i dont think they are scam because they helped me get rid of my problems and also assisted me when i called them on this number..

this happen to me last wk con men saying they were from Microsoft paid £73 for to fix my computer said it was full of viruses not!!!!! they down load advanced system care  which i paid for. if any one rings you put the phone down they sound convincing all in all i paid £100 for the phone call i had to get my computer cleaned and advanced system care taken off my computer a expensive phone call just report them to trading standards
