Caller: Perported to be the ATO

A prerecorded message was left on my voicemail, purporting to be the ATO, threatening police action and asking me to call call this number.

Caller: Marco

Marco from the "ATO" called advising I had an $885 tax refund credit. He requested my bank details or credit card details so he could make the refund to it.

Caller: ATO stupido

Some DH pretending to be the ATO. I asked who he was and he asked me why I showed attitude. For sure a scam...

actual caller saying he was from the ATO - i hung up as the accent was american and new it was not the ATO as the call was distant

I called back number (03) 9018 5152 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

This same number called and got a text from no doubt from the pre recorded message about the ATO and being arrested.... This one has been doing the rounds... just block.

Missed call from this number and listened to the voice mail from them saying they're from ATO and will arrest me if I do not return the call, Spam.
