Answered call. No one on the other end.

Call seemed to come from a makeshift call centre considering all the background talking that was going on. Caller immediately asked me to identify how many lights were flashing on my modem/NBN box. I asked them to identify themselves and they claimed they were from the NBN and the purpose of the call was to "install a firewall so people cannot access my internet and hack me". Knowing that this was clearly a scam I laughed and the caller got agitated and started swearing at me.

Caller: "This is Telstra Security" - Asian, female, bad English
Me: Yes, what can I do for you

Then they hang up

Feels like scammer

Said from nbn and i was having errors. Wanted me to down load program to give them remote access to my computer. When i said i was not going to do that they hung up.

This number called me today. No one on the other end.

Answered call. No one on the other end.

Received two calls 15 & 16/3/2022 - nil answer.

Claimed to be from my 'internet provider'. Poor English, obviously in a call centre but couldn't really hear what they were saying and then hung up on me.
