Several calls over the last few days. Same as most phone rings no one on other end. I think it may be a computer system searching for active phone numbers?????

I get calls from this number all the time. Sometimes twice a day. They always hang up on me. They never speak.

Yes I've been getting lots of calls from them too and now I have 3 different ones phoning and I have to screen all my calls. I wouldn't buy from someone doing that anyway.I'm sure it's some type of scam ...BUT what's the point of the calls?

They ring over and over and over day after day after day: no-one thee. Hate it. Am old lady and hate the "no anwer" calls

Got a call from this number just before. I said hello about 3 times before they just hung up on me. Tried calling the number back, but it said they were experiencing an unexpected high amount of calls, and to leave a message, then it went on to say that their mailbox is full.

Received unsolicited call allegedly from "xxx Energy" (forgotten name, but from what I've since read, they use different names) offering an 11% electricity discount. I asked "Who is xxx Energy?" The full response: "An electricity company". I polite replied "Yes, but can't you tell me anything more?", to which they hung up.

Out of curiosity I called back. A recorded message did not identify the number, but instead advised a lengthy wait before the call would be answered, immediately followed by a request that I leave my name and phone number "after the tone", then followed by "the mailbox is full" and disconnection.

Unethical and/or incompetent time wasters.

Six missed calls on my home phone from this number today. Four yesterday. Uncounted missed calls in the days before. When I call back it hangs up immediately. Nuisance call.

This number calls my work frequently and they just hang up, tried calling the number back and I got hung up on before anyone spoke.
Very annoying.

I got a call from (03) 9016 7886 telling me that they where some electricity billing company I said I was not interested and asked them not to call me again. I hung up and got called back straight away then dial toned. I rang the number to get engaged. Then I tried (03) 9016 7800 as any direct telemarketing company would be buy ISDN ranges of at least 100 numbers they then normaly use a good number in this range like 800,888 or 878 as there main number and as alot of people may ring back to complain about the calls they may choose to display an unused number like 886 for out going caller ID and then not route this to any incoming number hence a constant engaged tone. any way short story long the 800 number belongs to a direct marketing company called OXYGENE www.oxygene.com.au just a guess but i think it is them call you all.

The number is to do with the company connected to the government who are going around supplying energy saving power boards. I had mine installed the other day then they called me to confirm details. It was from this number.

They wont take no for an answer. They are predatory and extremely rude.I now have them in my phone book as dont answer-
