A guy named Sam, began speaking after a lapse of nothing, then said he is calling from a government department. Wanted to know if I wanted any personal loans, refinance mortgage….. very fishy.

Scam call, pretending to ring from a Government Department regarding a fraud committed by you or a member of your family.

Caller: Tax Office

Robocall .. Claiming that after numerous attempt to reach me with no success they are no consider this to be deliberate tax fraud and law suit has been filed against me and my family .. I rang the number they left for me call back on, and to my shock and horror, I got an engaged tone. Obvious fraud

Recorded messate saying: Your family is being investigated for fraud by our department, as we have been unable to get hold of you it is considered intentional fraud and a lawsuit has been filed against you.

Doesn't say what department or anything, clearly nonsense.

Caller: messages left on voicemail

You are about to have an arrest warrant issued against you and your family unless you contact us immediately, calling the number they identify themselves as ASIO total bullsh*t

A robotic male voice claiming a lawsuit for fraud has been filed against me. Hung up after that.

Definitely scam. Ignore.
