Claimed to be ATO demanding an immediate $1000 payment then a payment plan or arrest warrant would be issued. Possible 5 years jail or $125000 fine if not paid

Ask me for my name. Had a weird American accent. i told him that this is a scammer and he proceed to continue to say he isn't. hanged up on him

Indian with call centre background noise. Leading up to demanding back payment fro outstanding tax.

Scam on tax obligation etc. I didn't pick up the call but a voice message was left requesting to call back or press on specific number.

Called back from private number, Indian dude with call centre voices behind him claimed to be ATO (I think he even said 'Australian Tax Department' - sloppy
