Seems to be a phone scam, saying you have an ATO tax debt and there’s a warrant out for your arrest. They say you are being recorded by federal agencies as well.

Left a message requiring urgent action (and involving legal action). Return call elicited a response from a (strongly accented) person claiming this to be the ATO. Number does not correspond with listed numbers for ATO in Melbourne.

Caller: ‘Australian tax agency’ Rang and I answered, they hung up, I rang back and they said they were from the Australian Tax Agency, so I asked for his details and he hung up

Rang and I answered, they hung up, I rang back and they said they were from the Australian Tax Agency, so I asked for his details and he hung up
