Three times in three days a ph call from "telstra" saying files from computer are corrupting their system. I need to go to my computer login using their given id and follow their instructions. I took one to the brink and then said I had a Mac and he hang up. I told another one I had phone the telstra faults line and he then hung up. One today happily gave me this number.

Yep , Called with the same story. Even provided a ficticious employee ID number. Perhaps one of the more convincing scammers that have rang. Give this one a big big flick and Telstra should really look into as there is a better than even chance that some older folk are likely to be caught.
