Caller: Told me they where from Australian Taxation Office

This is a scam. Suggested they were from the ATO. I hung up. They left a message in a computer generated American accent saying that my account had been triggered for taxation avoidance and that there was a warrant for my arrest. The matter was time sensitive and I needed to call (02) 8091 6259.

Auto message that claims tax fraud has been committed and there is a petition that needs to be signed and warrant for arrest.

The old tax avoidance scam doing the rounds from this number now. Didn't answer and they left this message - cut short by the messaging service.

Inform you that your account has marked lien for tax avoidation(?). Paperwork sent to registered address has also returned back unsigned and undelivered. For this...
