Caller: Bank Scammer

This number is linked to a bank scam. They will call you and tell you that they have identified a transaction on your account and that they have identified the person who is known to them and have suspended your account / issued new card blah blah blah. Very convincing until they tell you that they need you to go on line and need you to communicate with them to 'finalise' the process of having your account blocked from further unlawful transactions. When you tell them that the bank would automatically suspend the account and wouldn't need you to log in to do this, they then start the threats that unless you do it your account won't be protected and that the call is recorded and if you are not agreeing to this the bank is not responsible for any further losses, which is a crock of sh*te. Just tell them that you'll sort it out personally at the bank and then contact your bank via your phone app.
